The use and protection of the Customer's personal data that are under the responsibility of Clube de Danças João de Deus comply with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679.

The person responsible for processing your personal data is Clube de Danças João de Deus, hereinafter referred to as CDJD, NIF 504666967 and headquartered at Rua São Luís 93, 2º Esq. 8000-285 Faro, 
Portugal, in compliance with the General Regulation on the Protection of Data.

2. What personal data can we collect?
In this Privacy Policy, the term “Personal Data” is summarized as a set of information related to you, which allows us to identify you, directly or indirectly. Personal data may include, for example, your name, contact (physical or electronic), transactions and interactions with us.

CDJD may collect the following personal data:
User identification data – name, email, telephone number.

3. How and why does CDJD use my personal data?
We use your personal data for the following purposes:

I. Marketing  – to inform you about news and offers that may be of interest to you;
II. Customer support contacts – so that we can provide you with a support service, before, during and after your contact.

4. How long do we keep your personal data?
The most relevant retention periods are as follows:
I. Marketing – If you are a customer or subscriber to the Newsletter, we retain your data for 1 year, after the last reaction to our communications (e.g. opening an email, among others);

II. Customer support contacts – a record of your written interactions over 3 years

5. Who can we share your personal data with?

When required by law, we may have to transfer your personal data to regulatory authorities or third parties, in which case our control over how your data is protected is limited.

6. How do we protect your personal data?
We have several security measures for the information collected, based on best national and international practices, in order to protect your personal data, including technological controls, administrative, technical, physical measures and procedures that guarantee the protection of your personal data, preventing improper use, unauthorized access and disclosure, its loss, its improper or inadvertent alteration or its unauthorized destruction. In matters of information security, we assume the same commitment to continuous improvement as we do in our daily activities.

The exercise of these rights is excepted when your personal data is used to safeguard the public interest, particularly in cases of detection and prevention of crimes.
